Global Bioethics Initiative will be screening the film ‘The Wisdom of Trauma’ featuring Dr. Gabor Mate.
The film will be followed by a moderated discussion hosted by Dr. Mary Simmerling and co-host Grace Cochran.
The panel represents a diverse group of trauma survivors, including Indigenous Canadians, members of the LGBTQ+ community, child abuse and sexual assault survivors, as well as victims of trafficking, racism, bullying, and other forms of violence and discrimination. Panel members include Allan Ashby, Chaimaa Cheref, Cheyenne Hill, Carla Murray, Taryn Putina, and Indie Sozo.
